Life mentoring is growing into an increasingly popular profession today. It is a professional process that focuses on your goal, harmony and success, involving planning and action in several chapters of your life. The master key to success, however, is defining your goal.

A life mento is trained to help people "clients" upgrade their lives, and clarify different challenges and needs within their worlds, also helps them find what is important to them. Plus, a life mentor is trained to ask you key questions that help unlock your thoughts and flare “tiny sparks” within your heart and mind. However, there are no standard answers to begin with. People are different, and their beliefs, goals, needs, mentalities, abilities, and values are different, too.

What Can Life Mentoring Do for Me?

As a life mentor, I will analyse the different aspects and choices of your life and then focus on a specific area. After all, you, as a mentee/counselee, will examine your life choices, and make all the final decisions - it is your journey, your choice, and your life.

A life mentor helps clients achieve inner peace, attain personal goals, make decisions, and cope with life changes. Moreover, people may seek mentoring-help with positivity, peace of mind, harmony, relationships, career, developing good habits, or dealing with stress and spirituality. Life mentoring can be a one-time meeting (session) or an ongoing process with professional relationship, or even friendship. Sessions can take place in the client’s home, outdoor, walk-and-talk, counsellor's place, or online.

Single Sessions

Some life mentors/therapists offer one meeting for clients who are seeking short-term coaching or mentorship. They also work with ongoing clients who prefer to pay on a session-by-session basis.

Life Mentoring/Therapy Packages

Some life mentors offer package deals for ongoing clients. Clients may want to work with a mentor over a period of time to explore life changes, relationships, or personal growth. The more sessions provided in the package, the higher the cost.

Training and Experience

Life mentors with certifications or advanced degrees may charge higher rates than mentors without a similar background.

Location

Location may affect mentoring rates. Mentors in regions with a higher cost of living may charge higher rates than those in smaller areas with a lower cost of living.

Travel

Some mentors may charge additional fees for travel to the client’s place to help cover additional expenses.
